Materials & Sources

Which enemy drops which crafting material, and where caps apply.

Crafting materials drop from specific enemy types, and each type only lives in certain worlds. A few materials are exclusive to a single world, so check the table below: if a recipe is stuck, you are probably farming the wrong world.

Boosting drops

  • Base drop chance is low — most materials are about 0.1% per kill — so killing MORE enemies (higher waves, faster clears) is the biggest lever
  • Be in the right world: the table above lists exactly which worlds drop each material, and a few drop in only one
  • Artifacts — the material-drop-chance effect stacks up to +20%
  • Awakening — material-drop-chance nodes add a flat bonus on top
  • Eternal Sanctuary (Abundance) — the material-drop ritual multiplies your whole drop chance, up to ×1.5 at max
  • Ritual of the Deep Vein (Sanctum, from World 6) — multiplies the BASE chance of every material except Sparks, up to ×3.5 over 5 long levels; stacks with everything above

Each material has a storage cap: 200 plus 15 per Awakening level, plus 25 per step bought in the Forge (a step costs 100 diamonds times its number). A material that drops on a full shelf is lost without a message, so spend it or raise the cap before a long farm.
