Boost Bar (In-Run Upgrades)

The leaf-funded upgrades you buy DURING a run — temporary power that resets each run.

The boost bar sits at the bottom of the screen during a run. You spend Leaves on temporary upgrades that power you up for THIS run only — they reset when the run ends. It is your main moment-to-moment progression and, early on, your only combat agency (even Auto Shoot starts here).

How it works

  • Bought with Leaves, which drop from kills and waves and reset every run.
  • Each upgrade has its own leaf cost that climbs with every level you buy.
  • Levels are wiped when the run ends — next run you start over.
  • It upgrades the same stats as the Workshop, but only for the current run.

Boost levels stack ON TOP of your permanent Workshop level along the same curve — so investing in the Workshop also makes every in-run boost start higher and hit harder.

Spend Leaves greedily — they are lost on death anyway. Dump them into damage and survival right before a boss wall; leftover Leaves at the cap feed the Leaf Furnace.
