Leaves vs Coins
Two basic currencies: one resets every run, one is forever.
Both drop from enemies and waves, but they live on different clocks: leaves power this run, coins power your account.
Leaves
- Spent on temporary in-run upgrades from the boost bar.
- Reset to the starting amount when the run ends.
- Late game: surplus leaves can be burned in the Leaf Furnace.
Coins
- Spent in the Workshop on permanent upgrades.
- Kept across runs, deaths and reinstalls (cloud save).
- Boosted by equipment, runes, companions and more.
Early on, spend leaves greedily — they are lost on death anyway. Save your deliberation for coins.
