Ascension
Spend coins to push already-maxed workshop upgrades past their limit, usually +1% each. Levels 81-100 also strengthen the whole stat. An Awakening perk, nothing resets.
Ascension is part of Awakening. Once you reach Awakening I, any maxed workshop upgrade can be Ascended: keep spending coins on it and each Ascension level raises its value by +1% (Start Wave: +2%). The upgrade stays maxed: Ascension stacks on top and nothing is reset. Each level costs a bit more than the last (prices rise steadily from a base that depends on the upgrade), and the per-upgrade limit grows with your Awakening level: +10 levels per Awakening, up to 100 at Awakening X.
Levels 81-100 do more: each also adds +1% to the whole stat, after equipment and every other bonus (up to x1.20 at level 100). For damage reduction, resistances, stun dodge, stun recovery and chances each level is worth 0.5% instead (up to x1.10) and shrinks what still gets through, even at the cap: at 100% crit or bleed chance the rest becomes crit or bleed damage, and pierce at its limit makes pass-through hits stronger.
Key facts
- Unlocks at Awakening I; the level cap rises +10 per Awakening level (up to 100).
- Paid in coins, not diamonds: each level's price rises steadily from a per-upgrade base.
- Nothing resets: the upgrade stays maxed and the Ascension bonuses stack on top.
- Levels 81-100 also add +1% each to the whole stat after every other bonus; for damage reduction, resistances, stun dodge, stun recovery and chances they are worth 0.5% each and shrink what gets through instead.
- The optional 50-diamond workshop reset is a separate respec that refunds every coin (Ascension included), not a prestige, and it grants no multiplier.
Ascension is a late-game coin sink: pour surplus coins into it once the workshop is fully maxed and nothing cheaper is left to buy.
