Artifact Socketing
Socket crafted artifacts into equipped gear. Effects apply only while the host item is equipped; duplicate effects are blocked.
Sockets come with rarity: Rare gear has a 20% chance for 1, Epic has 1 (20% chance for 2), Legendary 2, Mythic 3. A socketed artifact works only while its host item is equipped.
Socketing rules
- The same primary artifact effect cannot be equipped twice across your gear
- Unsocketing costs 5 Bone Shards and returns the artifact to the inventory
- Swapping equipment swaps its socketed artifacts with it
Plan sockets per loadout: the duplicate-effect block counts everything currently equipped, not per item.
